Hi! I'm Henry. I am a software engineer based in New York City.
I received a BA from the University of Chicago in 2023 in computer science and mathematics. After graduating, I moved home to Seattle and worked at AWS for two years in the hardware engineering organization, first on an out-of-band networking team, then on the BIOS team. In January 2026, I moved to New York City.
My non-work interests include the Lindy Hop (the original swing dance form), meditation, and singing music in the barbershop style.

Barbershop Quartet
This is a tool I built to try to understand better what it means for a barbershop quartet to tune well. It synthesizes the sound of four voices in a way based on the source-filter model from linguistics.
Learning the ropes of the susceptibility technique by replicating part of “Patterning”
This is a replication I did of an experiment in the field of mechanistic interpretability, which seeks to understand what's going on inside AI models.
An exposition of a proof of Gabriel’s Theorem
This is an exposition of a theorem in representation theory that I produced at the UChicago math REU.
